Get started with MrTrades

This guide takes you from a new account to your first order on Hyperliquid. It takes about 15 minutes. You need an email address and, for live trading, a crypto wallet with USDC.

1. Create a Starter account

Sign up with your email. MrTrades supports Hyperliquid markets only. Starter includes real-time data on every Hyperliquid market, the last 7 days of history, and manual trading in Terminal.

2. Try practice mode

Open Terminal. Practice mode uses real prices and no real money. Place a few orders to learn how order entry, stop-losses and take-profits work.

3. Set up live trading

Live trading places real orders on Hyperliquid with your own funds.

Link your wallet in Wallet. MrTrades never asks for your seed phrase or private key.
Deposit USDC on Arbitrum, then move it to your Hyperliquid perps balance.
Allow MrTrades to place orders for you. This also approves the MrTrades builder fee on Hyperliquid.
Read the risk disclosure before your first live order.

You trade from one main wallet. Once you pass $100k traded, MrTrades sets up separate long and short wallets.

4. Place your first order

In Terminal, switch from practice mode to live trading, pick a market, set the size, and add a stop-loss. Check the order preview, then confirm. Hyperliquid's minimum order is $10.

5. Optional next steps

Set price alerts on the markets you trade.
